Hyderabad is pretty cheaper when compared to the four metros of India. The food you get there is pretty cheap. You can get in to a decent looking hotel, and check out the menu before you decide to have a blast over there.

All these hotels will serve you the local Andhra food, Biryani. While they also serve North Indian dishes, and even Chinese, I would prefer you to not have them, until and unless you heard of the cook.
