The Fort St. George The electronics/gadgets market of Ritchie Street, off Mount Road The forests of IIT Madras campus and Guindy National Park Pondy Bazaar & Ranganathan street in T. Nagar Indo Saracenic architecture across the city, but pay special attention to High Court complex, Madras University buildings, Poonamallee High Road (near Central Station) Art Deco styles in Mount Road (Simpson's, The Hindu, MTC headoffice etc.) and Poonamallee High Road (Dasaprakash), the houses of T. Maheep Mandloi replied over 2 years agoChennai, like Mumbai, Colombo and many other commonwealth cities has an old fort area which was once the epicenter of the city. The cities have expanded well beyond imagination since then, but the forts have stood against time and offer a glimpse to the era foregone.... Lookout for the old Chennai sketches, and British weapons
