Chandrachoodan Gopalakrishnan replied over 3 years agoT Nagar is the principal shopping district. Pondy Bazaar (off Panagal Park in T Nagar) has clothing, jewellery, accessories, and many other. Ranganathan Street and Usman road (T Nagar, again) are crowded with pedestrians and is a shopping experience very few places can match. For electronics and gadgets, Ritchie street off Mount Road.

Meredith Anderson replied over 3 years agoI had great fun at Saravana Stores on Usman Road last Friday evening. It's a departmental store with everything. Browse their website http://www.saravanastoresnew.com/home.html so it's not so overwhelming. You'll also find branch of Nalli Silk Sarees http://www.nallisilk.com/nallib2c/welcome.do for ready made clothing and fabric on the next block as well as other clothing stores and lots of jewelry stores.

Dilip Patharachalam replied over 2 years agoTNagar for literally everything. It is a must visit for Gold and Clothing in particular. Apart from that, if you like malls, one should visit City center, Spencers or Aurora Skywalk. In terms of a place for shopping and food, Nungambakkam is the place to be. Lots of places to visit.
