Where's good to eat in Tel Aviv?

Daniele Orner Ginor replied about 1 year agoThe most famous of the cafe/restaurants on Sheinkin Street, Orna and Ella offers a homey sense of intimacy and perhaps reminds yuppies from North Tel Aviv of their grandparents' British Mandate-era apartments. It's got great pastries, brioche, and espresso, but there is also a short menu of choice sandwiches, salads, pastas, and the signature sweet-potato pancakes and goose breast hamburger. The lines are often out the door, and not just because customers tend to linger over conversation -- the cafe would not be so successful without food that's a cut above the rest. The waiters are young and very Israeli. (From the NY TImes)
