The most distinctive shop is Cosgrove's, an independent gourmet grocer. One of a kind. There is an organic farmer's market in the parking lot of Sligo Institute of Technology on Saturdays. Kate's Kitchen has gourmet fare as well and there is limited organic produce at Tir Na Nog, the health food store. All three shops are within a few metres of each other.
