Sarah White replied over 2 years agoThe Curlew is a wonderful cafe and craft shop that no visitor to Donegal should miss. Overlooking Mulroy Bay it is at the bottom of the Fanad peninsular, on the main road in Kerrykeel. The only place for miles and miles that serves genuine, fresh, home baking and locally caught seafood. Every dish is clearly made with pride and attention to detail, something not often found on the beaten track! Highly recommended are the seafood specials and the home baking. Besides the outstanding food, The Curlew also acts as an outlet for local artists, selling hand made jewellry, paintings, handicrafts, and unusual gifts. The wall space is sometimes used as an exhibition space, and the array of items are updated regularly. Highly recommended and excellent value for money! Available for private parties and evening meals upon request. Fully licenced. Closed winter.
