Pleasant and stylish. Very friendly and professional staff. Great food. Gorgeous airy Dutch architecture and well-appointed rooms. The pool is also very nice but not full-sized. Free wifi reaches most rooms and public spaces.

The style is a lot like Hanoi's famous Sofitel Metropolitan or Delhi's Imperial. This is what Colombo's Galle Face Hotel should be.
