Very welcoming place with good atmosphere located right in the middle of Budapest. Clean and cozy. Been in Ginkgo two times now and everytime I have met extremely interesting and friendly people.

Not a place I could afford on my own, but with someone else footing the bill this is an extremely relaxing spot with free, speedy internet and very comfortable beds. Great bfast too. I recommend staying on the 7th floor of the back wing with a room on the side away from Andrassy.

Better inside than Intercontinental, newer design and renovation. Great Bar. If you like the Strawberry Daiquiri order it only for the glass !!! If you can book river view or room 510 to 520 should be great !! Excellent breakfast but a little small room (for the hotels capacity).

Good Hotel for a good price. Nice rooms with breakfast. Only five minutes from downtown (by feet!). Free wlan. Silent rooms, but very central!

Lánchíd 19 Design Hotel – trying to look modern and almost getting away with it. It's located on the 'wrong' side of the river but if you don't mind an 8 minute walk to get to the other side, it won't hurt you. Friendly staff and concierge services that you will appreciate, (no language can be more complicated than Hungarian). Also it's a pretty good choice for those travelling on a budget. Cosy and clean, not a high standard one though. Very close to the Icerink, Syma Hall and several other sport facilities. No restaurant in place, you can eat in the Syma Hall though.

A simple, one-star hostel, but a really clean one. Lots of free beds on the weekends.
