Pizza joint with a Red influence. Good pizza, good beer, chicken wire between the booths, and Lenin on the walls.

    Tiszá trainers

Fantastic trainers which are impossible to get outside Hungary. Vintage brand used by much of Eastern Europe in the second half of the 20th century.

The Citadella right after sunset - it's profoundly beautiful, especially in good weather, when you can see well into the Buda hills and watch the city lights go on.

Says Wikipedia: The Széchenyi Medicinal Bath in Budapest (Széchenyi-gyógyfürdő) is the largest medicinal bath in Europe. Its water is supplied by two thermal springs, their temperature is 74°F/23°C and 77°F/25°C, respectively. The bath can be found in the City Park, and was built in 1913 in Neo-baroque style to the design of Győző Czigler. Go there! It's quite an experience, especially if you arrive in the wintertime to swim in the outdoor pools, (there are plenty of indoor options available).

The highest point of the hills overlooking Budapest. Fantastic panorama view. You can wander around in the nearby forests or get up there by a 15-min ride on Libegő, a chair lift: http://www.budapest.com/programs_with_children/libego.en.html
