    Food options for Vegetarians

Not much options there for vegetarians if eating outside. The Pizza Hut has veg. pizzas which is just about the only decent option that I found. There's a salad bar near Vaci ut. and they advertise by handing out flyers near Deak Ferenc ter. but it sucks so wouldn't recommend going there.

    Poco Loco for Gluten-Free eats

How many places will do GF Weiner-Schnitzel and fried cheese? You order off the main menu, most things are marked with a "GF" and they will make the necessary changes. It's great!

Iguana Bar & Grill is certainly the place to be in. It is an appealing Mexican restaurant offering a variety of delectable delights and has a cool ambience.

If you want to take your significant other to a cute place (in a budget), Marvelosa could be a good place to go. Next to the Danube, you can choose the (only) outdoor table (if you don't mind passing cars) or one of the indoor tables, each with its particular decoration/style.

I would like to introduce a famous restaurant in Budapest, Hungary.

Café Miró Grande, the most elegant restaurant and event venue of Budapest. It's located in the heart of Budapest at 9. Liszt Ferenc Square. Hosts were friendly in a great romantic atmosphere. This is traditional Hungarian cuisine. Wine selection is mostly Hungarian wines. My favourite wine is Tokaji in this restaurant. Main dishes are fantastic! I always eat Buttery veal roast or Paprika chicken with egg-dumpling souffle. And prices are ordinary, not expensive.

I tell all my friends to go and eat there if they are going to Budapest. You can read and watch more informarion and pictures under Café Miró Grande1s website http://www.cafemiro.hu/grande/

Another place I couldn't afford to eat at on my own, but was a special treat. Chicken with "autumnal fruits" was delicious.

An incredibly tasty restaurant, named after Hemingway`s famous old fisher man and the sea. They offer breakfast, lunch and dinner, load of choice but it`s in the name that mostly serves fish dishes. Which quite rare in Hungary.

I suggest if you are ever in the Vaci Street area you stop for a meal and a drink. Great service and prices. Plenty of TV's for the sports fan. Lots of variety on the menu. Their lunch specials are an unbelievable value. Overall great experience every time we go with or without the kids. Management really knows what it is doing there!
