If you prefer Italian you can find everything from Pizzeria to other Italian (or Italian style) restaurent.

If you like Indian food , Rimjhim Indian Resturant, 1-3, City Rd, Winchester

Announced as Nepalese, but in my opinion the usual Indian food. The Ghurka, City Rd, Winchester,

The Bombay delivers a good selection of south Indian food as well as tandoree style.

Plenty of bars, where I cant mention one especially. Just leave your hotel and walk around the main roads (either pedestrian areas or well equipped with pavements)

I always go to The Ghurka Chef on my first night in Winchester. Never been disappointed.

I would recommend the Black Rat on Chesil St. as they only try to do a single sitting you don't feel hurried and can relax and talk to friends.

I recomend you Pizza Hut Restaurants , cheap and not bad, When I went there I was twice to pizza hut, it was for us one of the best places to eat there. And Pizza Hut there is so better than here (Spain) for example.

Gurkha Chef best for Indian. Gourmet Pizza Company not bad (certainly best in Winchester) for a quick pizza. Black Rat supposed to be best for a more pricy/sophisticated meal.
