    The best high street shopping arround wilmslow is in manchester (20 minutes away by train or car), there are lotsof high price but good quality speciality food supplies arround like the Cheshire smokehouse (google it) etc.

    There is a good selection of independent shops in aldery edge (5 mins by car) and they have a nice farmers market on Sundays.
