Ulverston, United Kingdom + Add a trip

We visited Ulverston in May 2009 as part of a trip to the area, and ate here, taking advantage of their 241 midweek meal deals, the food was excellent. We had called for a drink here earlier in the day, they have a large selection of real ales from local breweries, including the Ulverston Brewery, typically themed on Laurel and Hardy, as is the pub;( Ulverston was the birthplace of Stan Laurel and there is a dedicated museum and statue in the town.) We returned at 6pm to find it was fully booked for meals, but we were lucky to be served in between bookings. Excellent home cooked food.
