Caroline Carranza replied over 2 years agoIt really depends if you are talking about day or evening stuff, families or adults? Stirling finally has the Vue multi screen centre - too long in coming, but great now its here - as usual the pop corn etc is a rip off! Great Historic attractions worth visiting are the castle,Wallace Monument and Old Town Jail. For sports/fitness enthusiasts there is the new Peak fitness centre with a swimming pool and indoor bowls and great climbing wall. If you have a car then you should get out to the Safari Park, or slightly further afield to Loch Katrine where you can sail on the SS Sir Walter Scott - great for everyone. They've just added a shelter on it so whatever the weather you will enjoy the sail.

Caroline Carranza replied over 2 years agoIf you're looking a for a free break or tickets to get into local Stirling attractions, then you should visit www.trossachs.co.uk. Here they have a monthly competition. This months prize is a 2 night break at the Buchanan Arms hotel. Next month is a 4 star break over by Loch Lomond. There are no catches or hidden agendas, the prize providers just want to raise the profile of their businesses.

Caroline Carranza replied over 2 years agoIf anyone is into Jazz then you should visit Callander near Stirling from Friday 2nd to Sunday 4th October for their annual Jazz and Blues Festival. Callander is one of those Scottish Towns where the businesses are all working together to promote the area and provide something for their visitors, rather than just trying to get your cash. Well worth a visit. They are even putting on a bus to take you to some of the more outlying venues. At last joined up thinking! Their website is www.callanderjazz.info
