Aura Topp replied over 2 years agoOnce an old church belonging to the Waldgrave family,, Salisbury Arts centre is on the edge of the city in grounds of it’s own. Based at St Edmonds Church in Bewin Street next to the council offices, tombs of people now deceased can be seen round the grounds, there used to be gravestones of people dotted around the floor until they were covered over.
Inside the atmosphere is pleasant, there’s also the original stained glass window of the main church. Many events happen here including shows and displays which take place. There are also different courses which take place here like pottery which can be bought in the centre, a theatre company, Children’s workshops, and other things. Rooms can also be hired. The centre has seen a lot of change and has other rooms added, there’s also a café and improved bathrooms. It's also haunted.
