Mark Barratt replied over 3 years agoThere's a good farmers market on the first and third Saturday of every month in the Cattle Market in Gt. Knollys Street. Not sure if you can still buy cattle there on other days.

Kimberley Crofts replied over 2 years agoWoodley has a farmer's market once a month (search it on the Wokingham Council site) and a Waitrose for the other essentials.
There is an organic market 4 times a week run by the True Foods Co-op which has organic fruit and veges as well as pasta, rice, grains and other groceries. They are very friendly. There is one at Earley on Friday nights and another at Newtown on Thursday nights. I think they might be in the town centre on a Saturday but you might have to check.
