Holly Golightly replied over 2 years agoThree of us shared a bottle of Prosecco here one afternoon. After that, in all honestly, we were feeling fairly well disposed to all and any, so probably this is not the most impartial review.
We had paninis followed by scones, cream and jam. The paninis were OK, nothing overly exciting. The strawberry jam was delicious – the kind where there are still whole strawberries oozing in the sticky loveliness. The clotted cream had plenty of clots. The scones were passable, tho’ personally I think I bake better ones.
It looks like the owners are slowly renovating the hotel and it’s an odd mix of boutique style hotel and out-of-date hotel of yesteryear. Pleasant tho’, staff were nice. Free WiFi.
