DJ Adams replied over 2 years agoIf you're feeling flush, this is the place to go. Best food & service we've had in Manchester (since Le Mont closed). There's also a brasserie and a great bar, where you can go for the ambience, the excellent cocktails and above all the people watching.

Gary Garnczarczyk replied over 2 years agoAwesome boutique hotel, really close to Piccadilly station. They do meetings, have fabulous suites including one called the theatre of Dreams named after Manchester United's stadium and the Best, named after George Best. It's an excellent place for lunch and dinner and if you hang ropund long enough you can find the odd celebrity musician or comedian. Definitely buzzin in the evenings and lunchtimes. V. popular at weekends. Here's the website: www.malmaison.com

Matt Haworth replied over 2 years agoQuirky independent gallery housed in the basement of the Friends Meeting House on Bootle Street which is worth a visit in itself.
Bit of an imposing entrance down a side-street behind a buzzer, but that's all part of the experience.
I've visted a few times, and seen challenging, moving exhibitions about subjects from war to urbanism. Highly recommended.
Watch out for the occasionally irregular opening hours/dates.
