DJ Adams replied over 4 years agoRoom Restaurant main courses for £7 before 7pm
Room restaurant does nice cocktails (Room Stimulant!) and main courses for seven quid before 7pm. Worth a trip just to see the massive panelled main room, too.

Cheryl Cooper replied over 4 years agoCloud 23 Sky Bar
Snazzy cocktail bar on the 23rd floor of the Hilton Hotel on Deansgate. Fabulous views (especially at sunset), great cocktails. Go early as it gets very full later , and then you'll have to queue for the lift and the service slows down a lot.
This tip has the address "Hilton Hotel, Deansgate" -
bill murty replied over 4 years agoRusholme curry mile. 5 mins from town, hundreds of asian restaurants. Or one of the independents in the Northern Quarter, The Market restaurant is outstanding.

Subhi Hashwa replied over 3 years agoSan Carlo is my favourite place in town (http://www.sancarlo.co.uk/) in deans gate. There is also Grill on the alley , also in deans gate. Restaurant bar and grill near deans gate is also an excellent place. But I highly recommend San Carlo, gives you a chance for celebrity spotting too :)

Ryan Taylor replied over 3 years agoThe Market Restaurant in the Northern Quarter is a perfect place for a great, British meal. It's hearty and warming in perfect, homely surroundings. For something more exotic however, try Japanese-style Tepanyaki in Chinatown, which is truly an unforgettable experience.

Jess Zimbabwe replied over 3 years agoNice, open table seating (which helps because it's basically a part-basement space). Tasty food from a wide variety of Asian cuisines. You can mix an Indian Starter with Thai noodles or some Chinese dumplings with Indonesian gado gado.

Mathew Cropper replied over 3 years agoThis is possibly my favourite Thai restaurant in Manchester.
Downstairs from street level, if you're looking for somewhere with a view this isn't the place for you, but the restaurant boasts excellent food with plenty to choose from. The staff are very friendly and the prices are good.
My friends love the seafood here, but I'm not a massive fish fan so can only vouch for the vegetarian and meaty mains. The tri-flavoured crispy duck main course is amazing.
