Andrew McMenamin replied over 4 years agoYou have to love The Pepper Tree. Fast, fresh and friendly and GREAT value. You can't book, so at busy times you have to stand in line but it is definitely worth it. This is the Thai restaurant that reminds me most of eating Thai in Sydney - SOOOOO good, and cheap too. It's not the place for a long intimate dinner for two, as the seating is at long benches, but for quality and value (two people eating, a couple of beers, change from £20) you cannot beat it.

They wouldn't stop bringing food. Honestly, we were stuffed by the time we'd finished the starters, and they brought dish after dish. Finally when they brought some fruit for dessert, it was a huge entire fruit bowl. Oh then they brought some more dessert...

Andy Kwok replied over 4 years agoHi,
I went there this Sunday (19th of April 2009).
As a Chinese, I'm quite difficult concerning chinese food especially Dim Sum. I was going there after one of my friend has recommended it. I ordered the usual dim sum, ha kao, fan ko, Buns.
How can I say that? It was a blast.
One of my best experience so far for Dim Sum in Europe.
Highly recommended.

Tom Coates replied over 4 years agoWahaca is probably one of the best Mexican-style restaurants in London and it is pretty tasty. Having said that, it's really not enormously authentic or anywhere near as good as the Mexican food you can get on the West Coast of the US or in, I guess, Mexico. However, if you're looking for interesting Wagamama style snacks in London with a Mexican twist, then this is great.

Jon Moss replied over 4 years agoIf you want an immaculate, clean and well-designed hotel, with attentive staff and at a good price, you cannot do much better than High Road House.
The wifi worked, the Cowshed toiletries were plentiful, the linen and quality of the room excellent, and the only slight downside was that the rooms were not brilliantly insulated from noise in the corridor. (It is a small hotel with only 14 rooms).
The brasserie and upstairs members area is also beautifully decorated and with great service. Highly recommended.
