I may have to stay in the London area for about 5 weeks between courses - where in London could I stay as a couple for that long and still afford it - ie. I don't want to spend hotel rates, but long term rental options - does anyone know where to look these days? I will need broadband access as I am still running a business in Aus whilst away. Years ago, people stayed in B&B on one side of town and lived on the other becvause of traffic - are long term B&B's still around and used?

    There are a number of options in London, thank goodness. Plus, if you call the hotelier directly for a longer term 'rental' you can really negotiate a good deal these days. Also try http://www.holiday-rentals.co.uk or other holiday rentals. I personally love holiday rentals as I have a family and staying at a nice 3 bedroom apartment, chalet or home with a kitchen is much better than a hotel room -- no matter what size.
