Kim Weckström replied over 3 years agoGreat little lunch/brunch Gem in the midst of the Notting Hill organic food ghetto. Seats only twelve. Prepare for a wait if you show up after 11.00 am. Israeli/Palestine inspired food. The first on the Ottolenghis, started in 2002 with a quip "if you don't like lemon or garlik, skip to the next page...". Owners Yotam Ottolenghi and Sami Tamimi have written great cook book with OL-recipies: "We adore the food of our Childhoods. We both ate lots of fruit and vegetables; oranges From Jerico, used only to make the sweetest juices, crunchy little cucumbers, full of the soil's flavours; heavy pomegranates tumbling from small trees that can no longer support their weight; figs, walnuts, wild herne..." Exquisite!
