Tim Spence replied over 2 years agoCharter markets are held in the Market Place every Thursday, with the local farmers' market normally held on the fourth Thursday of every month, and infrequent continental markets held throughout the year.
For grocery shopping, there is Waitrose and Sainsburys on Bell Street in the centre, and Tesco on the outskirts on Reading Road.
