A National Trust museum covering Elizabethan times up to the Victorian era, with displays and rooms set out as they would have been at the time. It also features the Conspiracy Room - allegedly the place where the trial & execution of King Charles I was plotted.

Some displays are hands-on, and you can even dress up in Civil War armour!
