Stay at the Evesham Hotel, it's quirky but very hospitable. they do lunch and dinners as well, which are thoroughly filling if a little expensive. Good for kids (and adults who act like kids), with a big garden and indoor swimming pool. For the adults there's also a bar with an overwhelming choice of drinks. Just don't use your mobile in the restaurant/bar!
