    Dundee Contemporary Arts (DCA)

    Regular exhibitions and films, plus café-bar and restaurant, and a small art-and-design-oriented shop.

    Conveniently placed between Dundee University and the train station.

    Very handy for a cheeky pint before dashing for your train (about 15 mins walk - go out the rear entrance and down the steps).

    Laings beer garden

    Not the best pub in Dundee, but definitely the best one to visit in good weather. The large, sloping beer garden is a local legend.

    Fisher & Donaldson

    The best bridies (like a Scots version of the Cornish pasty) and pies! Do chocole and cakes Etc too.
