James Ward replied over 3 years agoIf you want Michelin Star food, try Le Champignon Sauvage. Great food, as you'd expect, but a little stuffy and formal atmosphere.

Holly Golightly replied over 2 years agoThe Story Teller serves Southwest America, Mediterranean and Pacific Rim fusion food! The general feeling amongst Cheltonians is that the Story Teller can be a bit hit and miss on the quality front. In general tho' I've found it to be good and it's a low risk option.
They have a wine room where you can handle the wine and read the labels before buying a bottle. There's a good choice.
The restaurant ambiance is relaxed and the setting attractive. There are three interlinked rooms, including a large conservatory. They have some outside seating too.
They have interesting food and wine tasting events - it's worth checking out their website for details.

roberta walker replied about 1 year agoHot Pepper Jelly - brilliant food - bistro type - Chef makes amazing bread - which with olives, etc would be a meal in itself. regularly changing menu both lunch time and evening well worth a regular visit - bring your own wine makes it a very affordable mid week treat. Currently the duck or the monkfish are both to die for. Lunch menu equally inspired - I see previous comment and would say that the Coffee is still sublime!
