Holly Golightly replied over 3 years agoI've been meaning to try this place for ages and went there for the first time yesterday. They serve sandwiches, pasta and salads, plus cakes and pastries. They have all the traditional favourites and some more unusual combinations. There's an imaginative vegetarian selection too.
I had halloumi and pork belly with coriander seeds on focaccia (£5.75), washed down with homemade lemonade. Very tasty! Will definately eat here again. Apparently, they're highly commended by the British Sandwich Assocation!
Their salads cost around £7.75, pasta is around £6.75 and sandwiches are £4.95-£6.45. They also have a lunch menu of a sandwich/salad/pasta plus a drink for £4.45.
Has an attractive courtyard garden and interesting interior. Open Monday to Saturday 0900-1800, closed Sunday.

roberta walker replied over 2 years agoHot Pepper Jelly - brilliant food - bistro type - Chef makes amazing bread - which with olives, etc would be a meal in itself. regularly changing menu both lunch time and evening well worth a regular visit - bring your own wine makes it a very affordable mid week treat. Currently the duck or the monkfish are both to die for. Lunch menu equally inspired - I see previous comment and would say that the Coffee is still sublime!
