Where's good to stay in Carmarthen?

  I stayed in Spilman Hotel in Spilman St, it is just 5 mins walk from the rail station, and is right opposite The Ivy Bush Hotel. I made my stay there in 2007, but apparently they underwent a refurbishment, and it seems that the visitors are genuinely happy with accommodation and food. The hotel's back entrance connects you with King St that houses some nice shops, and is adjacent to Queen St and town centre where you can be wined and dined, as well as some historic attractions to explore. Perhaps, the only drawback is the road noise, but otherwise it is one of the best places to stay in Carmarthen, location-wise.
