Bill Thompson replied over 3 years agoIndigo Cafe in St Edward's Passage is an independently-run cafe that does great bagels and sandwiches. It's small, so often busy, but friendly and delightful and one of my favourite places.

Dan Rowden replied over 3 years agoTatties makes great baked potatoes and other warm food, and is quite cheap. There are two different cafes in the city, one at 11 Sussex Street and the other at 15 Trinity Street.

Tom Armitage replied over 2 years agoFor sandwiches, Peppercorns (which has branches around town, but I always used to frequent Rose Crescent - between Market Square and Caius) does some pretty good ones at reasonable prices.

Bill Thompson replied over 2 years agoCafe Indigo, St Edward's Passage - off King's Parade. Great bagels, best coffee in Cambridge and an indie cafe with atmosphere.

Hanni Ross replied over 2 years agoAnnabelle's on Hills Road is absolutely fantastic for sandwiches, soups etc. Nice, friendly staff too.

Mark Ross-Innes replied over 2 years agoNanna Mexico on the main road (regent street) has a really well priced Mexican menu). There is a cafe down penbrook street that does an amazing soup and door-stop lunch for about £2.50.
