Debra Boyask replied over 4 years agoWalk on Clifton Downs and check out Brunel's suspension bridge; go to the centre and hang about by the water - visit the Arnolfini, take a boat trip, see a film at the Watershed
-
Nick Piggott replied over 4 years agoIf it's warm or bright - take a Ferry through the harbour to Cumberland Basin, which is a tranquil way to explore central Bristol from the water. Drop off at the S.S. Great Britain at the way. If it's cold or wet, Cabot Circus for mainstream retail therapy, Park Street for indie fashions, St. Nick's Market for knick-knacks and books, Watershed/Arnolfini and around the Millenium Square area for art and eating.

Jim Fox replied over 4 years agoTake a stroll around Bristols harbourside and old docks area. Pleasant scenery, lots of inviting cafes, restaurants and bars, and historic buildings.

Jonathan Phillips replied over 3 years agoPicnic on the downs, shopping in Clifton Village. On a rainy day, take a look in the Wills Memorial Building on Park Street - impressive! In the next few weeks, visit the museum to see the Banksy exhibition.
