Nick Piggott replied over 4 years agoIf you're on a budget, then the chain budget hotels are all pretty good in Bristol - Travelodge, Premier Inn, IBIS, Holiday Inn Express. Boring, but predictable and reliable. The City Inn is very popular with guests, being contemporary and relatively classy. (http://www.cityinn.co.uk) The star hotels in the city, Marriot Royal and Hotel Du Vin live up to their reputations, even if they'll burn a big hole in your pocket. The Mercure Holland House is new, but getting a good reputation.

Drew Watson replied over 4 years agoMarriot City is nice too, especially for anyone visiting RBS at Trinity Quay as it's within splitting distance of the offices.

lisa baerman replied over 4 years agoThe Mercure Holland House is really nice, it's true. Also, for budget travelers, the Premier Inn Haymarket is no frills, but comfortable and clean. The Thistle Bristol is older but nice and the staff is super friendly as well.

James Pearson replied over 3 years agoThe Ibis Hotel in Temple Meads near the station is very good!
Usually costs around £55 per night, just like a Travelodge but there's nothing at all bad I can say about it for a budget hotel.
The place is new so it might not appear on Google Maps just yet, but I think that just adds to the quality of the place as it is all newly built.

Jono Taylor replied over 3 years agoCheck out the Hotel du Vin special offers, they frequently have dinner and bed offers which match other places on price but are far more fulfilling and special. Even if it is £10 more it is definately worth it!
