Jon Tan replied over 3 years agoMay have improved since I went when it first opened, but on a quiet mid-week night, it took until a table of 12 was ravenous until we got our food, which was subtle and competent, but underwhelming and pricey. I have no objection to paying for genius (thinking about Mint/820 in Portland, Oregon, USA, or Gen in Brooklyn, NY, here) but I consider BQ a marginal victory of style and hype over substance. Sorry.

Aaron Parker replied over 3 years agoIt's on the expensive side, but man is this place good. Combined restaurant, brasserie, deli, bakery, and other stuff this place offers some really amazing dishes. If it's still available go for the red wine soup as a starter - absolutely delicious!
