Many friends recommended a Japanese restaurant called Pompoko. Superb value, quick service and very nice food. Just find yourself a table, decide what you want, then order at the counter downstairs.

If this is the one by the pavilion I've heard great things about it too. Not just sushi, they do other food too :p [I get the feeling I was told japanese curries..]
