Clive Andrews replied over 2 years agoThe correct name for this venue is Palace Pier (and I think that's already listed on Dopplr). The title 'Brighton Pier' was made up by the people who currently run Palace Pier, as an attempt to suggest it was Brighton's only pier, before West Pier was subject to two arson attacks in mysterious circumstances. Most Brightonians, and Brighton's local newspaper, still refer to the pier by its proper name, Palace Pier.
