The Marlins Hotel (http://www.marlinshotel.com/) is wonderful. A home away from home, run by people who have incredible attention to detail and can't do enough for you.

It's got off-street parking and free wifi and is minutes away from town and the beach and the breakfast is probably the best cooked breakfast I've ever had in a hotel.

The Urban Beach Hotel (http://www.urbanbeachhotel.co.uk) is located just round the corner from myself and is highly recommended. Food is excellent: all locally produced, service and staff are very friendly, helpful and informal and the bar/restaurant is a haven for both residents and locals. Outdoor decking, heating and cocktail bar adds to the ambiance. The hotel is located in Boscombe, 5 minutes walk from the beach and Boscombe pier (with soon to be completed Surf Reef) and the tied to hotel Urban Reef restaurant (http://www.urbanreef.com). Boscombe is also 10 minutes drive from central Bournemouth.
