    The Eagle

    Added October 1st

    Bene't Street

Owned by neighbouring Corpus Christi College and about ten paces to their new library and it's amazing clock. The "RAF bar" at the back has graffiti by WWII pilots, and if that's not enough history, here at lunchtime on 28 February 1953 Francis Crick announced the discovery of DNA.

Oh, and pretty good fish and chips, Greene King ales and beers on tap.

    The Green Dragon

    Added August 28th 2008

    Water Street, Chesterton

One of the oldest and most charming pubs in Cambridge. The food and atmosphere are excellent! Located just on the river Cam, 15 min off the city center by bike.
From Magdalene College, continue along the river, pass the Fort St. Georges pub and the Victorian Museum of Technology (in front of the big white new bridge), and cross the river at the Green Dragon Bridge.

    Chez Henri

    1 sheppard street

You must go - it's the most incredibly charming little French Cuban restaurant possible, with an intimate bar. Try the Cuban sandwich and the periodista. Perfection.
