Coffee Lounge, on Navigation Street. It's opposite one of the exits for New Street and not far from the Tesco Metro. Coffee is pretty reasonably priced, WiFi password is CoffeeLounge, if your not sure ask behind the counter.

There's also Urban Coffee Co at 30 Church Street, just off Colmore Row which runs along past the cathedral between the Council House and Snow Hill Station.

Outside one of the mobile phone (cell phone) shops. They're freqently near to each other and often one will have an open connection.
