There is a market in the High Street every Saturday with fruit, veg, cheese, fish, tea, and bric-a-brac stalls and a Farmers' market every 3rd Sunday in the month alternating with the occasional French market. The High Street has a parade of shops including a number of small retailers, a Boots, a WH Smiths, and there is a large Waitrose supermarket between the High Street and the railway station.
