Day trips to some of the exquisite sites nearby will make your trip wonderful. Very near to Avebury and Stonehenge. Also to the Warminster Cathedral and Stour Park and Gardens. Bradford-on-Avon is a lovely little village. And while you're at it, fly in to Bristol International Airport...its a good alternative to the crowded airports in London. And please don't forget to visit the Roman Baths in central Bath...immense weight of history and echoes of Jane Austen.
