Ascot itself does not have much to do, however you are a short drive from Windsor, of which the town itself, and also the Great Park are lovely. The riverside at Windsor is especially worth a visit for the great multitudes of swans.

Legoland is also nearby, although I have yet to visit

The town of Ascot doesn't have much to offer. But Windsor Great Park is great for walks/cycling - especially by Virginia Water lake. There are plenty of ancient oaks and other bits of woodland too. Chobham common nearby is a good spot for a walk too - especially if you are a birdwatcher.
