Tours, France + Add a trip

Thanks to the special offer by Grand Hotel de Tours, I've just spent a wonderful and memorable weekend in the Loire Valley with my family.

It includes 1 or 2 nights in a double room, breakfast buffet and the choice of visiting the Castle "Chenonceau" or the Gardens "Villandry" or the last home of Leonardo da Vinci "Le Clos Luce." And we chose to visit the Garden "Villandry",which is very beautiful filled with plants, vegetables and fruits. The guide we had while visiting that castle was very interesting, and I learned a lot. One of the things: people in XV were scared of water and were only having a bath one a year if required !!! A must see if you get in France !

This is a charming lovely hotel ! We had a marvelous time at this extremely well-located hotel on the heart of Tours. From the station it was a very easy walk to the hotel. The staff was super accommodating and extremely tolerant of non French speakers. We were always greeted by an enthusiastic front desk. The Decor style is charming and very intimate, and rooms were very comfortable .The location is superb, and the hotel area is so active and full of amenities ( restaurants , bars and shops )! Loved it
