ricky montalvo replied over 4 years agoWalk to the Marais towards the Jewish part of Paris in the "Pletzl." a district located between Ile de la Cité and between the Place de la République and Place de la Bastille. There are many many places to eat here, one of which is Greek Mediterranean and has outdoor seating.

Jorge Martinez replied over 4 years agoIf you are at the 17th arrondisement near Ave. Mac Mahon, Ave. de Ternes and Rue des Acacias you must try Lacombe (in the corner of Rue des Acacias and Ave. Mac Mahon). A typical Parisian café with amazing pastas and superb pastries. A must: the chocolate mil feuilles.

Louise Waring replied over 4 years agoI like grabbing cheese, wine, some bread, and eating under the Eiffel Tower for my first meal in Paris. You can never beat the view and always have a seat.

Picnicking under the Eiffel Tower (on a warm evening in late August) will go down as one of my favourite memories – it seemed to be where all the locals our age were, in large groups, drinking wine, watching the tower light up every few minutes.
It was nice to eat cheaply, in a relaxed environment, and on our own time. We finished the evening by cycling down the the left bank of the river.
