    The Petit Palais at the bottom end of the Champs Elysees, is an interesting museum and art gallery with free entry to the permanent collections. Currently, a very popular paying exhibition on Yves St Laurent with long queues. Go to the side door to the right of the entrance steps, giving immediate access to the basement level. There is a nice cafeteria and inner garden.
