Jess Zimbabwe replied over 3 years agoBrioche D'Or. It's a chain of bakeries with special menus of sandwiches, salads, and hot casseroles. Each menu also comes with a tasty pastry, a cold drink, and a hot beverage when you're finished.

Dave Neary replied over 3 years agoExcluding fast food: Look for smaller brasserie/restaurants, where you can typically get a plat du jour for €8 or €9. Some of my favourite cheapish eateries: Café Frankfurt, Place Rouget de l'Isle, La Bérangére, rue de la Bérangére, le Carré Saone, rue de la Quarantaine (not the cheapest! But beautiful meat).

David Paccoud replied over 2 years agoChez Mounier (3 rue des marronniers 69002 Lyon) is a great restaurant when on a budget and still want to try Lyon's gastronomy. They have a 3 course menu for lunch at 10€ that is very good value. Do not forget to reserve tho (+33 4 78 37 79 26)
