Argana Moroccan Restaurant

I recommend Argana, a Moroccan Restaurants in Lille. They serve very tasty Tajines and Couscous. Unfortunately not one vegetarian meal on the menu (they don't even seem to understand the word). Service and atmosphere is excellent.

Notting Hill Coffee

Notting Hill Coffee in Lille is a very charming place to grab and eat your lunch. Nice sandwiches and great coffee. It's situated in very small building,where you order at the first floor and then take your lunch to the 2nd or 3rd floor via a steep staircase. Nice view on the window shoppers out on the street.

Flore Brassiere

Stumbled across this place, just off the Grand Place. On the outside looks very touristy but packed full of locals. Always a good sign. Served excellent Belgian dishes, Leffe on tap and good (if brisk) service.

Try the restaurant called "L'Omnia" in the old town. And try also one of the delicious specialty : The Welsch with French fries. You won't regret it!
