If you like local products, the farmers market near the Chatou RER station is a great find! The market is held on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. Get there by foot or park at the metro station pay parking lot.

And for the big family shoppers, nothing can beat the HUGE Carrefour supermarket in Montesson (15 min drive). If you're just on visiting, skip Tuesdays as it gets extremely crowded, it's 5% off day of the week for Pass members.
