Where's good to stay in Carcassonne?

  Characterful little place only 500m from the medieval city. Don't expect 5* accommodation, it's an abbey - basic and functional, but very good value. The place has a carpark, free internet (you should ask for a wired room as the wifi is dodgy), and a Chapel (with mass if you're into that), and a lovely little restaurant.
