    First : the Musée du Petit Palais, close to the Palais des Papes. A collection of Italian (and some provençal) paintings (13th C. to the beginning of 16th C) www.petit-palais.org.

    Second : the Musée Calvet with his collections of paintings and sculptures from the 15th C. to the 20th C. Especially Joseph Vernet's paintings. The museum located in a 18th C. magnificent private mansion.
