Visit the Suva markets on Saturday morning

Visit to the Fiji Museum - http://www.fijimuseum.org.fj

Check out the Suva night-life (with a local friend) http://www.myfijiguide.com/entertainment/night-life.aspx

Take in a movie at Village 6 cinemas - http://www.damodarvillage.com.fj . Fiji often gets new Hollywood releases before Australia or New Zealand ... and much cheaper at $5.50 a ticket

Go scuba diving or snorkeling off Pacific Harbour (40 minutes outside Suva). Many dive companies will organise pick-ups from Suva hotels. http://www.fiji-diving.com.au/beqa-pacific-harbour/

Got out to Nausori and wander around the town, especially the market

Befriend a local and get them to take you to Wainadoi River or Navua River, about 20 mins out of Perth to the coldest, clearest rivers you've ever seen. Navua River is where they flimed anaconda 2.

Buy some pinepaple and mangoes or whatever is in season at the Suva market, the spend a lazy morning reading the local newspapers lying in the sun at the newly cleaned Thurston Botanical Gardens next to the Museum (See Jachin's post)

Take a taxi and a good friend to the Raintree Lodge just 10 mins out of Suva... And try to hit a hole-in-one at the floating island on the big lake! fun!!!!
